The Hotel is located in an old farmhouse situated in a scenic and quiet location, surrounded by 40,000 square meters of garden. It can be reached from the center of Laveno in few minutes (1.5 miles). The rooms are equipped with flat-screen satellite TV, ceiling fan, minibar and private bathroom with bathrobes, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries. The rooms on the 1st floor have a balcony furnished.

In summer you can enjoy a drink on the terrace and in the morning you can enjoy a breakfast buffet . Locanda Pozzetto is equipped with a landing area for helicopters.

Railway station

Nodal point for international tourism, both to Switzerland and to the western shore of Lake Maggiore, Laveno rail networks converge more: Ferrovie Nord Milano, that goes to Milano after stopping in Varese.

Car service

Three major road links converge on Laveno: the Laveno-Luino that goes to Switzerland; the Laveno-Angera to Sesto Calende and the higheays Milano-Alessandris, the Voltri-Sempione and the Laveno-Varese to connect with the highway to Milan.

Ferries

Lake Maggiore, in particular the Borromeo Gulf, is internationally famous for the scenery, the temperate climate and the resort. Stresa, “the pearl of Lake Maggiore” is popular for gardens, hotels with a great tradition, cultural events and conferences. The main attraction of the Gulf, however, is made up of the Borromean Islands: Isola Bella, with the noble Borromeo Palace and elegant gardens, created with exuberant baroque fantasy; Isola Madre, loved for its lush vegetation, rare plants, exotic flowers, peacocks, and parrots in the wild; Isola dei Pescatori, which is home to a picturesque village; Finally, the small island of St.Giovanni, the only one not open to visitors.

Marina Laveno

The marina PORTOLABIENO has 160 berths arranged on floating pontoons, some of which are reserved for transit. They can accomodate boats from 6 up to 14 m in length. There is no shallow water in or near the entrance of the harbor: the navigability of the water surface of the port is assured in all periods of the year.
